Sad News | Marie Halpern passed away

We announce with great sadness that Marie Halpern, Guild President of Chatham Memorial Synagogue, passed away in New Zealand on 28 April 2015, while visiting members of her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family at this very sad time. She will be remembered as a mainstay of the community and the guild over many years.

The funeral will take place in Chatham at at time to be advised.
