Yom HaAtzmaut

Following memorial prayers for Yom HaShoah and Yom HaZikaron, a Yom HaAtzmaut event was held at the synagogue on Sunday 19 April 2015. Nicholas Saphir, chairman of the New Israel Fund and former synagogue chairman, led a lively discussion about the current situation in Isael. Visitors from the other Jewish Kent communities attended the event, which included aftenoon tea.
