Chatham community honours Marie Halpern

At the Chanukah party on 1 December 2013, Marie Halpern was appointed Guild President of the Chatham Memorial Synagogue for life, in recognition of many years service to the community and its Guild (formerly known as the Ladies Guild).

A commemorative certificate and a bouquet of flowers were presented to Marie by synagogue chairman Jon Weiner
